Professor and Geospatial faculty lead at Northeastern University. Previously Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics; German Aerospace Center (Berlin); Boston University (Research Professor). Faculty affiliate of Northeastern University's Global Resilience Institute and Kostas Research Institute, and a founding member of NU’s machine learning and artificial intelligence domain. Current research centers on systemic geospatial (Massachusetts Opioid Crisis: Data-driven Approaches for Community Resilience Initiatives); and applications of machine learning and computer vision.
