Erin Mutch is the founding Director of the GIS Center (formerly Spatial Analysis and Research Center) and has been in this role at the University of California, Merced since 2013. Prior to joining UC Merced, Ms. Mutch was a GIS Consultant for 15 years, supporting local governments, water utilities, and a wide array of environmental consulting projects.
My focus is on collaborating with campus faculty, students, and staff in spatial research projects. I have 25 years of professional experience in GIS management and implementation. My goal is to provide affordable, usable, and efficient GIS solutions to UC Merced campus partners and the community.
