Integrating GIS Across the Higher Education Curriculum – An Applied Approach

This panel addresses how our university which serves adult learners in the online and blended environment- created multiple programs that successfully  incorporate GIS across the curriculum. These programs are undergraduate program in Integrated social Sciences, Master's Program in Business with and emphasis on Business Intelligence and Data Analytics, and an 2 course Non-Profit GIS Certificate. Strategies for cross-departmental collaboration and interdisciplinary teaming using the innovative Center for Instructional innovation are highlighted.
