Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

This session complements the Tuesday National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) workshop but you don’t need to have attended the workshop to be interested in the NHD! The NHD is a part of the National Map of the United States but and the path to improving it often goes through the local areas. This session talks about highlights the path approach to stewardship that California has taken and how the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta region’s hydrography linework is being improved to a higher resolution. The session is wrapped up with a presentation on a new web tool developed by the U.S. Geological Survey that allows the public to mark-up errors in the NHD for review and resolution by the state stewards.
