Vegetation Alteration and Analysis - Challenges and Solutions - AICP/CM Approved 1.5

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Vegetation poses challenges for many different sectors, join us in this session to see how vegetation analysis can be done for different purposes and using different solutions. See how an agency virtually trims trees to evaluate the impact on scenic vistas, how habitat restoration can be modeled from planning to field support to habitat monitoring using GIS, how forest cover analysis can be utilized for type classification and change detection, and how long-term Landsat observations can be used for land conservation practices in an area with persistent cloud cover.
