NextGen 9-1-1: Advocacy and Funding

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Implementing the next generation of 9-1-1 technology is proving to be a long, slow process. But that’s okay because there are so many moving parts to this initiative that it is taking everyone a while to get monetized and motivated. Among the most important of those moving parts are NextGen9-1-1 Funding (who will pay?) and NextGen9-1-1 Advocacy (why change to NG9-1-1?) Attend this panel discussion to hear about making the changes by thought leaders and participants from several aspects of the path to Next Generation 9-1-1.

Panelists
Ty Wooten, Director of Education, National Emergency Number Association (NENA), Indianapolis, IN
Ian von Essen, IVGIS Consulting, Spokane, WA
