University of Southern California Spatial Sciences Institute
Student
Greater Los Angeles Area
I studied GeoDesign at USC; the major requires studying spatial science, urban planning, and architectural design. Additionally, I am currently enrolled in a progressive masters degree program for Geographic Information Science and Technology. Through my past experiences in work and volunteering, I have worked with children, peers, parents, adults, and board members; as a result, I have learned how to communicate effectively with different audiences. I have also developed excellent written and verbal communication skills, which enable me to develop meaningful relationships with all ages. The skill sets I have acquired will prepare me to use geospatial knowledge to solve data-intensive, large-scale, and location-based issues within a multitude of industries with an end goal of cost-effective sustainable solutions. Ultimately, I want to work in a field doing work that impacts the lives of others in a positive way, whether this is through scientific research or through data and project analysis.
